Instruments

Tools We Use

Dudelsack – A bagpipe – and style of pipe playing – indigenous to Germany, Netherlands, and other Low Countries.  They’re not just for Scotland any more (and never have been).

Tupan – Davul, Tapan, Tupan…  A folk drum used from Turkey and Greece – with variations found all the way through India and north to the Balkans.

Goblet Drum – Regional variants are many: Doumbek, Zhar, Djembe.  The oldest known is from a Celtic tomb in southern German.

Reaper: Shareware recording and editing software.  Does just about everything a DAW can do. Without the usual sticker shock.
